Who we are

We are the only national as well as international body that represents 19.553 businesses-members on our 24 islands.

We are the collective instrument, the voice of the businessmen of the Cyclades at the decision making centers, supporting the interests and the development of the businesses of our area.

At the same time, we act as consultants, authorized by the state, as far as entrepreneurship issues are concerned, and we work hard in order to improve the working environment of the local businesses as well as the life quality of everyone who lives and works in the Cyclades.

We are one of the first digital chambers in the country with equipment of the latest technology- computing, operational and teleconferencing-so as to bridge the natural obstacles of being on an island and to be close to our members.

Syros being our head office, at the moment we have fully interconnected offices and event rooms in Andros, Milos, Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, Santorini, and Tinos, always ready to satisfy the needs and the demands of the members. We are also preparing something similar for more islands of the Cyclades.

History

Established in 1836, the Chamber of the Cyclades is among the three oldest chambers in our country, among the one of Nafplion and the one of Patras.

Administrative Structure & Organization chart

We are a legal Entity of public Law, regulated by the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism with a broadened board of Directors of 51 members which holds monthly teleconferences.

The non-profit Cyclades Company of Development (K.ET.A.N.) is an affiliate company, and it supports all the actions of the Chamber by offering flexibility and rapidity.

We have trained executives which assist 85% of our members on 8 islands.

Our departments are the following: Registry, Administrative& Financial Department, Development Programs, Organization of Offices on Islands, It systems, Communication & Qualification.
